"Jewelry tells a story about where you’ve been, who surrounds you, and who you are. It’s a symbol of what you value and what you love."
I was born in a tiny cabin in Kootenay Bay, British Columbia, just steps away from the shore of Kootenay Lake, in the heart of the snow-capped Purcell mountains.
My surroundings are some of the most awe inspiring landscapes in the world, and have completely formed who I am, and inspire my art. Jewelry perfectly reflects my natural talents, and brings all of my passions--adventure, nature and art--into one medium.
I studied silversmithing in the heart of the world famous jewelry district in Mexico City, and spent the years before and after developing my craft by experimentation. I live and work in the small town I grew up in, amongst the creative, talented, eccentric and colourful people who live along Kootenay Lake’s eastern shore. They have taught me that the pursuit of happiness lies in being true to yourself. To me, beauty is what makes life worth living, and respecting my creative voice is my truth.
